/24-7PressRelease/ -- ArtFire has announced that November has been their most successful month yet in artisan sales. Compared to October, November sales were up 19 percent, and when compared to November sales from 2008, sales this year were up 6,625 percent.
This dramatic increase in numbers stems from the Thanksgiving weekend sales, which proved to be one of the most successful weekends for sales the site has yet seen. Compared to the same weekend in October, sales increased by 60 percent. Sales for this weekend were also up by 47 percent compared to the previous weekend in November.
"None of this could have been possible without help and promotion from our artisan members," said John Jacobs, President of ArtFire.com. "These numbers suggest that more people are shopping online and purchasing more artisan-made products this year, and we hope to see even more success as time goes on."
