/24-7PressRelease/ -- February 2010 is the last chance new artisans on ArtFire will have to upgrade to a Pro account and lock in the $12/monthly subscription rate. Starting March 1st, 2010, new members to the site will have to pay $15.95/month to sign up or upgrade to Pro membership.
All members who upgrade or sign up as a Pro user before March 1st will not be subject to this new rate increase. Instead, they will be "locked in" at the $12/monthly subscription rate for however long they hold their Pro account on ArtFire. However, after March 1st, month-to-month rate will increase, and members looking to start up new Pro accounts will have to pay the new rate.
"We want to thank our members who have been with us from an early point by offering this locked in rate," said John Jacobs, CEO of ArtFire.com. "We have already built many great new features on Artfire and intend to build even more interactive buyer and seller features for the community in 2010."
Of course, ArtFire will continue to offer a Basic (free) membership program allowing artisans to list and sell an unlimited number of items completely free with fewer promotional and studio tools.
