Artmart Encourages Customers to Drink Coffee, Support Local Artists

Proceeds will benefit regional artists throughout St. Louis.



    ST. LOUIS, MO, June 27, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Artmart, the local art supply store, is now selling local coffee in their store in an effort to support artists within the Greater St. Louis Region.

Customers of Artmart are encouraged to visit the store during business hours and purchase a bag of locally-brewed Mississippi Mud Coffee House coffee. Artmart sells 12-ounce bags of the coffee for $12. All proceeds will benefit regional artists through the work of Art Saint Louis.

"We are dedicated to giving back to our community, especially to the artists who make St. Louis one of the most unique and artistic places to live," said Keith Baizer, owner of Artmart. "Just about everyone likes coffee, so why not sell coffee to our patrons? Doing so won't just benefit the artists in our community - our customers will get to enjoy several cups of one of the best tasting coffees in the city."

Mississippi Mud Coffee House is a small, respected batch coffee roaster created by Christopher Ruess. Located in the historic Soulard neighborhood, Mississippi Mud Coffee House has been satisfying coffee connoisseurs in the St. Louis region since 2004.

Since 1952, Artmart has been the largest art supplier for the Greater St. Louis region. They provide a large array of quality art supplies to artists of all levels and host classes for their patrons to create beautiful art. Artmart also houses a framing center, allowing customers to put their masterpieces in a wide variety of beautiful frames.

Artmart is located on 2355 South Hanley Road. They are open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
