The winners of this year's awards are to be announced at the 7th Annual Awards Gala and Tech Forum on November 10th and 11th in Orlando, FL. Participants in the Gala will include Florida House Speaker Designate Dean Cannon; State CIO David Taylor; Dr. Ken Ford, Chair of the NASA Advisory Council and Director of the Institute for Human and Machine Cognition; State Representative Marlene O'Toole; Earnie Franklin, Chair of ITFlorida and President of Incepture; Roger Berry, CIO for Disney Parks and Resorts Worldwide; and representatives of numerous small businesses and IT-enabled corporations throughout Florida.
ITFlorida is an umbrella, not-for-profit, membership organization that represents Florida's diverse technology community on a statewide basis. Their board of directors is comprised of both public and private technology leaders for high tech in the state of Florida. ITFlorida provides guidance to the state on technology issues and initiatives; guides the Governor, the Legislature, and Enterprise Florida on the strategic technology direction and initiatives of the state; and works to ensure the successful integration of technology infrastructure statewide.
