The newest such product is their 4x2 Composite/S-Video Matrix Switch with Stereo audio, the AT-SAV-42M. While many manufacturers look past Composite, calling it a legacy format, Atlona is going after the estimated 20 million US customers who reported that they are still using Composite or S-Video as their main video connection type, according to a CEA research report.
With 4 Composite and 4 S-video inputs going out to 2 Composite and 2 S-Video, the AT-SAV-42M offers professional quality Composite/S-Video with Stereo Audio switching at a price point lower than most competitors in the Audio Video market. Because it is a matrix switch, any of the four Composite and S-Video inputs can be routed to any of the two Composite/S-Video outputs independently; or the same input can be routed to all outputs simultaneously, or any other combination. The AT-SAV-42M features both manual and Infrared Remote, and is compatible with every major third party control system such as RTI or Control 4. With quick and easy installation, this unit is perfect for any application using Composite and S-Video devices such as security systems and standard definition home theater installations.
