/24-7PressRelease/ -- Atlona Technologies continues to receive recognition for their AT-HDAiR with recipient of its latest award, the 2009 EXCITE Award. This award follows an announcement for the AT-HDAiR as a finalist in the CE Pro BEST Awards.
The EXCITE Awards are presented annually by CustomRetailer, a leading publication for custom installers, integrators, and retailers for various new, cutting-edge products, ventures, and technology. The EXICTE Award winners are chosen from hundreds of candidates from a wide variety of custom electronics. The contestants are judged based on their design, engineering, innovation and market presence, with the most outstanding products taking home the honors.
Atlona is being recognized for its high-performance and solutions-oriented product, the AT-HDAiR, a wireless USB to HDMI or VGA converter. The unit is able to transmit HD video from one's laptop or computer to an HD display up to 30 ft away. This feature allows users to apply their HDTV as an extra monitor, wirelessly, proving the perfect product for presentations, slide shows, or watching video from Internet sites such as Hulu or Youtube.

The awards were decided by a panel of CustomRetailer editorial staff. "The impact these products have on the industry is felt in the installers' productivity, the dealers' profitability, the clients' satisfaction and the industry's vitality," says the CustomRetailer award committee.
Winners will be formally presented with their awards at the 2009 CEDIA Expo in Atlanta, Georgia. The reception is on Thursday, September 10th at the Luckie Food Lounge from 6:30P.M. to 8:30P.M. The various technologies also will be featured in a special section for the 2009 EXCITE Award Winners in the October issue of CustomRetailer.
