Ms. Burch also received the Star Volunteer award at the annual membership meeting where one Board member is recognized for extraordinary service to the NCHC.

The North Carolina Horse Council (NCHC) was formed in 1972 as a Non-Profit 501 (c) (5) Corporation by a group of concerned horse owners. Today the Council exists to represent and further the common interests of the entire equine industry in all 100 counties of North Carolina.
