/24-7PressRelease/ -- The Georgia Association of Women Lawyers was founded in 1928 by 19 female attorneys dedicated to strengthening leadership roles and career opportunities for women within the law community. Continuing this tradition will be Gaunce's new mission as president of the local chapter of this organization.
She is currently an associate in the real estate practice group at HunterMaclean, where she focuses upon commercial real estate, zoning, land use and commercial leasing, working with a wide range of clients.
Originally from Savannah, Gaunce received a B.A. in Political Science from Emory University and a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she founded and served as president of the Animal Legal Protection Organization (ALPO).
Gaunce is also a staunch community supporter, serving on the board of directors for the Humane Society of Savannah-Chatham, Inc. and the Tybee Island Marine Science Center. She also serves on the Emerging Leaders Committee of Savannah's Community Foundation.
