/24-7PressRelease/ - BIRMINGHAM, AL, March 29, 2007 - On Saturday, April 14, 2007 at 6:00 p.m., Annihilator of Innocence author Tahiera Monique Brown, will appear at a Book Signing hosted by D.I.V.A.S! Book Club at Jewel's in downtown Birmingham. Tahiera will read excerpts from her book, and share a special presentation entitled, "Life is a Journey: But, what choice do you make when you get to the edge of a cliff?" Several book clubs have purchased copies of Annihilator of Innocence. However, D.I.V.A.S!, which stands for "Divinely, Inspired, Virtuous, and Anointed Sisters!", is the first book club to host an event for the author. "I owe a debt of gratitude to all of the book clubs that have supported me over the past several months, and I am pleased that D.I.V.A.S! has invited me to be the speaker for this event", says Tahiera. Courtney Roberts, one of the representatives of the D.I.V.A.S! book club, learned about the author at the 2006 Birmingham Regional Chamber of Commerce annual meeting and Christmas party. "This event is open to the public...anyone is welcome, and we encourage attendance at what will be a first class affair", states Roberts.

Annihilator of Innocence chronicles Tahiera's life as a survivor of domestic violence, from her childhood, and during the two dangerous years where she was held hostage in Atlanta, Georgia. "I nearly lost my life to escape my nightmare. I believe that with faith, and with hope, you can survive, and you can overcome, life's most difficult situations", Brown says.

The event will include a question and answer session after the end of the presentation, and prior to the book signing.

Jewel's is an elegant and intimate meeting facility. It is located at 1918 3rd Avenue North, Birmingham, AL 35203. You are encouraged to come out and enjoy an evening with D.I.V.A.S! Book Club on April 14th. It will be an evening to remember!

Tahiera Monique Brown is the first author to be released by the Tavine'ra Publishing Imprint. Tavine'ra Publishing, LLC seeks to publish "Extraordinary Stories" by Extraordinary People".
