The book grew out of Reno's previous experience in the natural health field and his personal passion for nutritional super foods like maca root and spirulina, plant foods that can be found in Boku Super Food. Reno self-published The Ultimate Guide to Natural Health Quick Reference and for now is making it available only through his company's site http://www.bokusuperfood.com, although releasing it to standard bookseller channels is not out of the question in the future.
Much of the information in this volume is available for viewing at the Boku International web site. "We are using portions of the book as site content, both for value add on the site, but also to help with search engine marketing and optimization. At this time, the majority of hits we get are directly related to search engines that are picking up our great content," reports a company spokesperson.
Plans are in the works to produce a "Deluxe Edition" of the Ultimate Guide, with over 50 pages of detailed information on ailments and natural health topics. Reno envisions he Deluxe Edition as an heirloom-quality hardcover guide that people can add to their permanent health libraries.
