- Bradford, PA - Schoeffengrund, Germany - April 13, 2006 - Global IP Telecommunications (Global IP Tel), announces the successful completion of the proof of concept version of their revolutionary software that automatically configures Network (LAN) Devices: :LANbot.
The Alpha Version of LANbot can now be downloaded for evaluation at
www.globaliptel.com. Users can currently interact with LANbot in English, Simplified Chinese, French and German.
LANbot resolves frequently occuring collisions and erroneous settings that are inevitable in heterogeneous networks with several devices sharing limited resources.
The user interface of LANbot can be reduced to just one button for launching the autoconfiguration process. However, the current build enables users to get an insight to the mode of operation. Global IP Tel is currently searching for affiliates and partners to assist in the ongoing development process of LANbot. The next phase consists of including additional sub-functions, which have thus far not been the object of focus.
