The 6450 series vibratory feeder controller offers customers a new alternative featuring its easy-to-navigate set-up menu and a Universal 85-264 VAC input voltage operating range.
The 6450 series are contained in a Nema-1 general purpose enclosure with vibration sensors available on all models. Input voltage is 85-264 VAC, 50/60 Hz and fused from 5 amps to 10 amps upon request. Output voltage is 0-120/240 VAC, 30-140 Hz and rated from 3 amps to 18 amps upon request.
"The 6450 Series Controllers are a smart alternative for customers that need a very fine amplitude adjustment," explains ADI Electrician Matt Friend. "The digital display allows for 1000 steps of amplitude adjustment while providing a status line message to convey the control's operating state."
An additional postive atttribute is the security code feature that can restrict the level of operator access. "This can be helpful to maintain a consistent feed rate for a customer's vibratory feed rate," explains Friend.
The 6450 Series is also available in a Nema-12 oil resistant enclosure. The 3 amp and 9 amp rated controllers are also available in a double or triple control enclosure. Other product features include a resonant frequency that can be found manually using the keypad or automatically by mounting the vibration sensor and letting the controller scan the frequency range (30-140 HZ), and an optional operating mode that includes an empty bowl/parts jam indicator, two speed operation and an "always on" feature that when used in conjunction with the auxiliary output can operate an air-jet or light stand.
