SHEFFIELD, UK, November 20, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- North Derbyshire motor dealer, Autoworld of Chesterfield, will be offering over 1,000,000 worth of savings on new and used vehicles in its first ever 'Car Swap' event finishing 4pm Sunday 16th November.

Lasting 10 days, 'Car Swap' has been prompted by recent research carried out by the Autoworld team which suggests that for many people, purchasing a new or used vehicle is a 'hassle'. The research shows that people are put off by the perception that selling their own car is a chore, so many put off or completely avoid buying a new car. The event will give free no obligation valuations to customers who can then trade in their old vehicle for their dream car from a range of over 500 new and used cars on offer at Autoworld's Brimington Road showroom.

Stan Walker, Group Finance and Insurance Manager at Autoworld, said: "The 'Car Swap' event puts the fun, excitement and pleasure back in to changing your car, and completely removes all the hassle of selling your own car. When conducting our customer research, we were surprised at how many people perceived selling their car to be a real barrier to buying a new one. We took this on board and decided to have our first ever 'Car Swap' event. Customers will not be financially disadvantaged in any way with this offer; quite the contrary - we aim to offer the best market deal, with both the best trade in prices and screen prices available, so there's really nothing to lose."

Autoworld's 'Car Swap' event will offer customers the opportunity to have their existing vehicle valued - for this there is no charge even if they decide not to pursue the swap. The valuation of their existing car will simply be deducted from the already discounted price of their car of choice, marked clearly on the windscreens. "Because of the massive discounts being offered on the cars available, there will be genuine situations where the cars customers wish to trade are worth more than the cars they wish to buy - in this scenario we will happily pay cash to the customer for the difference!."

Once you have decided on a swap, simply take your valuation form to anyone of the Autoworld Car Sales Executives who will complete the necessary documentation. You will also be able to take advantage of our special finance packages during the event, No payments 'til Spring 2009. Finance subject to status.
