/24-7PressRelease/ - NEW YORK, NY, January 23, 2008 - AVENUE REPORT Magazine is pleased to announce the release of its third issue "A Tribute to Black Culture", and gracing the cover is one of Hollywood's most best kept secrets, Actor/Author/Activist, Hill Harper. "Having Hill Harper grace our cover this issue was a complete honor for the Avenue Report family," says Toyin Awesu, Publisher/Editor-In-Chief of Avenue Report Magazine. "Hill is a man that exemplifies talent, charisma, character and above all a successful Black Man," adds Awesu.

Created in June 2006 by Toyin Awesu, AVENUE REPORT is a quarterly magazine for African American males, which encompasses all aspects of his luxurious lifestyle. Readers can expect a variety of articles that cater to his wants and needs unlike any other magazine. AVENUE REPORT prides itself on designing each issue based on themes selected by the editorial staff and publisher. The theme represents a reflection of our target audience's interest.

Avenue Report Magazine's cover story, Hill Harper discusses his philanthropic goals with his organization MANifest Your Destiny. He explains the importance of the continuation of youth education this day and age and also expressed that he is all for "CHANGE", with admitting to Avenue Report Magazine his support for Presidential hopeful, Senator Barack Obama. Also, in the issue, The Goddess of Bad Boy CHERI DENNIS, is the celebrity guest editor and she shares some of the things that she feels "Women would want their Men to give to them on Valentines's Day".

Throughout the pages of "A Tribute to Black Culture", you will also find a variety of topics that will captivate your taste buds. Avenue Report makes a detour and decides to take us into the world of Fraternities and Sororities celebrating the National Pan Hellenic Council members with a "Stomp The Yard Greek Theme and feature story, told by a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority herself, Toyin Awesu. AR spends some time with Baltimore Raven's football player Dan Wilcox and learns what he does to uplift his community, in hopes of making it a better place. It also takes a chronological look at "African American Athletes" over the time and compares the good, the bad and the hype behind some of today's sports-heroes.

In our Gadgets feature you will learn the difference between Plasma screens and LCD's. Also, what is the must have video game of the season? Is it X-box, Wii, Playstation or just plain Ms. Pac-man? When is a "Man Bag" too much? Well, the Fashion department explored the definition of "Man Bags", and gives you options of when a "Man Bag" is needed or not. In the Lifestyle section, we learn the answers to "To Shave or Not To Shave", from a woman's point of view. And, have you ever wondered "Where are your favorite hip hop artists now?
