I propose a simple format of the check and balances free from the interference of the big corporation, and complicated accounting practices; just have a glance at the income-tax return format! I would like to bring local residents, retailers and small businesses together, to boost the local economy, and I believe it will improve the national productivity, when it happens in different parts of Canada." said Bahman.
"Business inactivity is a serious economic threat for too many small and medium size businesses and their owners, I am calling on all levels of governments, to get engage with locals by involving their elected officials, to prevent unwanted results, rather than focusing on the behind closed doors deals and policies which will make the issues that are important to Canadian, more complicated than already are. Simplicity is the answer." said Bahman Yazdanfar
"Human beings are designed to help each other. Elective representatives should be willing to help their constituents and to provide a healthier environment in their neighbourhood, hence, improve their local economy and motivate other businesses to invest in their area. The existing four major parties in the House of Commons have ignored their own promises and neglected the tax-payers, voters, and citizens of this precious land, Canada." said Bahman Yazdanfar.
"I am not a politician, just a concerned citizen with a touch of common sense, and like most of Canadians, I struggle to make the ends meet. I decided to run in this election to protest the status-quo. I believe that in true democracy, people hold the power and can change their representatives, as easily as they elected them." said Bahman Yazdanfar.
"I am counting on the residents of Toronto-Danforth in this election to become pioneers of correction to our parliamentary system, and show the rest of Canada that it is possible to change the political landscape by sending someone with a fresh perspective and no attachment to Ottawa, who is practically an out-of-the box thinker and doer, as their MP." said Bahman Yazdanfar.
"I am asking the voters to pause for a moment before casting their vote and ask themselves: What has my MP done for me lately? Am I better off than three years ago? Is my neighbourhood safer, cleaner, or more prosperous than four years ago? What am I hoping to accomplish by sending the same people back to the House of Commons?" said Bahman Yazdanfar
"If they can't find any reasonable answer, this time around, they have a choice to send a concerned citizen, amongst themselves, who is not a politician; and if they are wondering that what one candidate can do in the Parliament? Or, whether one elected MP can make a difference? I ask them to just remember the late Mr. Chuck Cadman! I can't possibly do more damage than what has already been done, CAN I?" said Bahman Yazdanfar.
