Villaraigosa as part of a student assembly at Tom Bradley Elementary School to remember the 41st anniversary of Dr. King's assassination.
The flags, designed by Ross Flags in Chino Hills, California, were given to nine Los Angeles Unified School District elementary schools enrolled in the BHCP Kids** program and the ten schools that are part of Mayor Villaraigosa Partnership for LA Schools.
"It is extremely important that America's future generations are educated about the legacy of Dr. King," said Quintin E.
