The program, which is coordinated by the Association of Bay Area Governments, only certifies those businesses that meet a set of high standards that regulate environmental performance. To meet the standards, McManis Faulkner implemented a number of business measures that involved water conservation, solid waste reduction and recycling, energy conservation and pollution prevention.
