FORT WORTH, TX, November 18, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Although Bennigan's has closed all of its company-owned locations nationwide, fans of their famous Monte Cristo sandwich can still sink their teeth into one at the Chef Point Cafe (http://www.chefpointcafe.org) in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Monte Cristo sandwich is ham, turkey, Swiss and American cheese on wheat bread that is lightly battered, fried to golden perfection, dusted with powdered sugar and served with strawberry preserves for dipping. Sweet all the way through.

"The Monte Cristo was the reason a lot of people went to Bennigan's," said Chef and co-owner Franson Nwaeze. "We want to be sure people know where to satisfy a Monte Cristo craving in Fort Worth."

"The Monte Cristo at Chef Point Cafe is one of my favorite lunches," said Ron Sturgeon, a frequent patron of the unique Fort Worth restaurant and owner of DFW Elite Auto Rental.com. "I liked the original, but I believe that Chef Nwaeze's Monte Cristo is even better," insisted Sturgeon.

Visitors to the Chef Point Cafe will not find a tavern atmosphere, Irish relics or a shamrock green decor. Instead, they will experience food worthy of Fort Worth's elite gourmet restaurants in an unlikely place.

Chef Point Cafe may be America's only five-star restaurant in a Conoco gas station.

"People visit the Chef Point Cafe because of the novelty of eating fine food in such an unusual location," said Mrs. Paula Nwaeze. "But they become loyal Chef Point Cafe customers because of our food and service." The return of the Monte Cristo just gives people one more reason to visit a unique five- star restaurant in Fort Worth.
