Better Bathrooms branch out to Amazon.co.uk

The online bathroom showroom, Better Bathrooms.com has teamed up with the retail giant, Amazon.co.uk, to distribute its products on an even wider scale

/24-7PressRelease/ - WIGAN, UK, February 22, 2007 - Better Bathrooms, one of the largest online bathroom superstores, has revealed it is to join forces with the biggest online only retailer, Amazon.co.uk, to increase its distribution channels and offer bathroom buyers the best deals in the marketplace.

In a move which will see Better Bathrooms initially offering a carefully selected percentage of its current product range (approximately 10%) on the Amazon.co.uk website, it is a partnership which underlines the bathroom supplier's pursuit of dominance of the online bathroom market.

Colin Stevens, the Better Bathrooms Managing Director said, "Amazon is a name everybody in the online market place recognises. Their brand is simple, but effective and they are well respected for offering quality products, competitive prices and excellent customer service - something that fits perfectly with our business model. We have decided at present to offer just a selection of our complete product catalogue, including our best selling bathroom suites , baths, showers and taps , but over the next few months we will be looking to grow this figure and eventually list our entire product range with Amazon, which amounts to over 3000 bathroom products."

Better Bathrooms is not shy when it comes to collaborating with the big players online. For over 5 years, the company has been continuously selling its products through the auction site ebay, via both the standard auction listings and its ebay shop , and has built up an excellent reputation with its customers. This deal with Amazon.co.uk, will see the company become one of only a handful of bathroom retailers on the website, of which a third of Amazon's total unit sales have come from independent stores such as Better Bathrooms.

Although traditionally a seller of literature, over the past few years Amazon has branched out into several different markets, including Electronics, DVDs and even Computer Software. It's expedition into the Home & Garden sector is a brave one, but with a proven track record in other unfamiliar territories, Amazon has shown itself to be more than capable. By taking on companies such as Better Bathrooms as retailers on their behalf, Amazon is able to provide the excellent reputation and store front, while the retailer provides the expertise and physical merchandise, resulting in an irresistible and formidable online partnership.

Better Bathrooms is a retailer of high quality bathroom products and supplies items from all very best bathroom manufacturers including Hudson Reed, Clearwater, Laufen, H20 Bathware and RAK Ceramics, as well as many others.

Based in Wigan, Lancashire and with over 30 years experience in the bathroom trade, Better Bathrooms is not just an online company. With a physical showroom and a central distribution centre, their customers can rest assured that their bathrooms are in safe hands.
