ROCHESTER, MN, November 10, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/
-- Ms. Betty Walker has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mrs. Walker has been a teacher, author, and co-founder of Jonathan House Ministries Inc. since 2000. Together with her husband, the family was called to the ministry after their grandson Jonathan "was healed by our Lord Jesus" from seizures he had been suffering for more than four years, since the age of two. Mrs. Walker believes their faith effected the supernatural healing of their grandson, and gladly followed the open doors the Lord had for them. Mrs. Walker is certified in healing and deliverance by their pastor in Lufkin, Texas, and holds a ministry license. From cashier duties to bookkeeping, she handles the day to day business of the Jonathan House while listening for the voice of the Lord Jesus.
Born to John and Mary Alice Copeland, Mrs. Walker married Bobby Glenn Walker in 1952, and had three children, Kerry Dale Walker, Robin Elizabeth Pemberton-Rochester, and William Bradley Walker. The couple now has nine grandchildren, one of whom is also a pastor, and 14 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Walker has worked in bookkeeping for most of her life. The couple has been operating Jonathan House as a healing and deliverance ministry, and have helped hundreds of people all over the U.S. Mrs. Walker is astounded that "so many of God's people are not able to live the lives the Lord intended for them because of sins they have committed, and things that their parents and grandparents have done in their lives." She works to help people with broken families or those negatively affected by abuse of drugs and alcohol.
The Walkers will celebrate 65 years of matrimony on December 24, 2017. Mrs. Walker's husband leads the ministry in teaching, deliverance, and healing, while Mrs. Walker holds the role of secretary-treasurer. He served in the U.S. Army and the National Guard before entering the ministry, and returned to service during the Berlin Crisis. Mr. Walker is a lifelong outdoorsman who enjoys fishing and hunting, and works with Teen Challenge in guiding younger men and boys.
Mrs. Walker is also an accomplished author, and has begun to write her fourth book, "Family Life Today!!!" Other works include "Trust Me, Child", "God's Flower Garden", and "To Keep or Not to Keep". In her spare time, she is fond of working in her own flower garden, which makes its way into decorations for her home and office along with beautiful antiques. She loves cooking for family and friends, which affords an opportunity to use her antique dishes, linens, and furniture. Mrs. Walker has been recognized as a Marquis Who's Who Industry Expert.
