YUBA CITY, CA, December 15, 2009 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Beverly May Knipping, Recorder for Yuba City Moose Family Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in administrative operations.

With 24 years of professional experience, Ms. Knipping specializes in children and senior care. She is responsible for handling administrative operations and organizing fundraisers in conjunction with Mooseheart Child City and School and Moosehaven. Yuba City Moose Family Center is a nonprofit lodge. Prior to joining Yuba City Moose Family Center, Ms. Knipping worked for Bev's Day Care for about 25 years. Throughout her career, she has served in various positions with the Moose Lodge, including as treasurer, membership chairman, chaplain, escort, ritual director, pep chairman, junior and senior regent at the College of Regents. Women of the Moose Chapters conduct more than 20 million dollars worth of community service in counting monetary donations and volunteer hours worked annually. Ms. Knipping attributes her success to her passion and dedication for the community, children and seniors.

Ms. Knipping completed coursework in the early 1960's at Contra Costa College and obtained a diploma from Lower Lake High School in1955. She was the recipient of the Red Stole Award from College of Regents in 2005. In the future, she aspires to attain the Star Recorder award, given by the International Chapter.

She also attended Yuba College at Marysville in California for three years in the 1980's. There, she completed coursework in psychology and police science. She served as a jailer at Sutter County Jail for seven years, where she also completed coursework. She started the Contra Costa Day Care Association in Richmond, California, in 1967, which became the State Association. When she moved to Yuba City in 1974, she joined the Children's Home Society. They then asked her to start the Sutter County Day Care Association in 1975. She was the head of the association for many years, until she enrolled in college and stepped down. When she worked at the jail, she worked from 5:30pm until 12:30am. She ran her day care from 6:30pm to 5:00pm. She also started two pre-schools in Yuba City, doing the decorating and opening them up, getting them running, and good teachers and aides to take over.

The Yuba City Moose Lodge is a family fraternity that supports Moose Heart for Children in Chicago, Illinois and Moosehaven for Our Seniors in Florida.
