BGCOP Appoints New Members to its Board of Directors

Strategic Business Developer and Bookkeeping/Tax Manager join the Club's leadership team



    OXNARD, CA, June 26, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme announces the addition of Gregory Siuta and Veronica Quintana to its board of directors. Siuta, a strategic business development professional with Booz Allen Hamilton in Camarillo, brings a unique blend of professional, academic and personal experience to the BGCOP board. Quintana specializes in providing services to companies in the agricultural, construction, manufacturing, restaurant, and professional service industries, as well as government contractors.

"Both Greg and Veronica have proven track records for identifying and solving challenging problems," said Erin Antrim, BGCOP chief executive officer. "Their experience will provide dynamic support to our board and fresh ideas on new ways we can continue to improve the lives of our youth in Oxnard and Ventura County."

As a business development strategist, Siuta pursues new business opportunities for the firm within the market areas of military aviation, electronic warfare, F-35 program management and concurrently serves as a Booz Allen Hamilton adjunct instructor. In past roles he has supported dynamic Integrated Product Teams (IPT) with EW, Cyber, Operations and Training endeavors. Siuta holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Strategic Management from California Miramar University and an MBA from the Naval Postgraduate School. He has attended post-graduate studies in Aviation Engineering at the Georgia Technology Research Institute and National Strategic Studies at the Naval War College. He also holds a BS in Economics from East Carolina University. Prior to his position at Booz Allen Hamilton, Siuta served more than 11 ½ years as a U.S. Naval Officer, primarily flying the EA-6B "Prowler." A Boys & Girls Club alumnus, Siuta currently volunteers as an AYSO soccer coach and serves as director for the Mugu Chapter of the Association of Old Crows.

Quintana has been with CBIZ Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C. for the last 19 years, where she is in charge of bookkeeping and tax clients for the Oxnard office, with overall responsibility for tax and accounting services to commercial entities. She has a bachelor's degree in business administration, concentrating on accounting, from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Quintana is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant. Active in the community, she has spent time as treasurer of Oxnard Union High School District Foundation; chairperson of La Hermandad Hank Lacayo Youth & Family Center; and treasurer of Ocean View Toastmasters. She has received the Who's Who in Professional Services twice and the Latino Business Awards from the Pacific Coast Business Times.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme exists to inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. With three full-service clubs and 18 school program sites, the organization is one of the largest of its kind in California, serving more than 9,200 members annually.
