ST. LOUIS, MO, November 29, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- BHS, Inc., a leading provider of material handling and battery changing equipment, has finalized the dates for its Service School and Sales Academy training during the upcoming year. Both clinics are free of charge.
BHS tailors its Service School to dealers and end users. The three-day clinic takes place once per month from January to October. Every other month, a fourth day of training is open to dealers, allowing them to earn an Install Certification for certain BHS systems.
"Service School gives dealers a unique look at electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems," said Melissa Bowen of the BHS marketing team. "We prepare them for everything they might come across in the field while operating our equipment, so there's a big focus on troubleshooting, adjustments, and maintenance."
To earn the Install Certification, dealers must attend the three-day Service School and the extra day of install class. Once completed, applicants must complete a field component in which they successfully install an actual Operator Aboard Battery Extractor system (under supportive BHS staff supervision).
Install certification lasts for three years and is applicable to the Battery Extractor system used in the field component as well as smaller systems. Service School classes include three meals per day and transportation to and from class.

The Sales Academy will take place in February, April, June, August, and October. These two-day training courses familiarize dealers with BHS products and solutions, making them experts in recognizing applications for equipment.
"Our Sales Academy makes dealers feel more confident when offering solutions to clients," said Bowen. "After the training, dealers will be able to recognize what equipment is best for different applications and fleets, which helps both the dealer and their clients."
Dealers will get classroom and hands-on experience in comparing BHS and competitor products for Operator Aboard Battery Extractor systems, carriage systems, gantry systems, and warehouse equipment. After the training, attendees will go home with an improved skill set in battery handling and warehouse equipment, as well as expertise in BHS equipment applications.
