RALEIGH, NC, November 05, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Diane Dennis, event co chair and the committee for the 2009 Big Bad Ball announced today the event was successful in raising funds. The 8th annual gala generated $95,000 from a silent auction, raffle ticket sales and other donations. Held Saturday, October 3rd at the Capital City Club and hosted by the club's Young Executives Board, the Big Bad Ball featured gourmet food and drink, a photo booth and makeovers from Bobbi Brown cosmetics. Approximately 275 guests danced to ballroom, swing and jazz performed by the Casablanca Orchestra, a Raleigh-based big band. Triangle locals tHE.DESIGN played high-energy rock and pop until 1 AM.

"The 2009 Ball was a great success despite the difficult economic conditions," said event co-chair April Mills.
