Big T's BBQ and Smokehouse is Expanding With New Location in Calgary's Deer Run

    CALGARY, AB, January 11, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Big T's BBQ and Smokehouse has officially announced that they will be opening a new location in the community of Deer Run. To commemorate this occasion, Big T's BBQ and Smokehouse will be hosting a 'Friends and Family' event the evening of Monday, January 12th at 5pm to celebrate the grand opening.

This new restaurant will mark the 3rd location in Calgary for Big T's BBQ and Smokehouse. "We are extremely excited to be joining the neighbourhood of Deer Run and bringing our BBQ recipes into the South of Calgary." commented Big T's BBQ and Smokehouse owners Jean Charbonneau and Leslie Burton.

"Big T's BBQ has a menu that goes far beyond the typical barbecue restaurant," stated Burton, "We've worked very hard to consistently produce dishes that are traditional favourites and more adventurous southern style dishes. The concept is based around classic homemade recipes passed down through the family."

In addition to the Grand Opening, the event will also serve as a charity fundraiser with all the proceeds from the evening donated to the Calgary Drop-In Centre.

"All the woodwork in the bar was actually produced by the Apprentices from the Woodwork program from The Calgary Drop-In Centre. We were so inspired by the program that we wanted the chance to give back. Our opening night will be dedicated to giving back, both to our friends and family, and a charity close to our hearts." said Charbonneau.

"This new location is an exciting opportunity for us. We're proud of the new restaurant and looking forward to connecting with the community, not to mention giving back to a cause we care deeply about." concluded Burton.
