Mr. Hamaty started his company three years ago, after having spent 20 years in various design-related positions. His expertise is in staging homes which are for sale so that they sell quicker and for more money than homes that are not staged. A qualified expert who is doing unique and inventive work, Mr. Hamaty has been written about in various trade publications as well as newspapers and has even been featured in a video produced by The Boston Globe. He attributes his success to his unyielding focus on customer service, something he learned from successful companies for which he has worked in the past. Mr. Hamaty attended Suffolk University and has completed various business courses, the most recent being his studying to become an accredited international staging professional which involved coursework as well as hands-on training in the field. He has been treasurer of the local chapter of home stagers and has recently been elected president of the Boston chapter (BIRC, Boston International Association of Home Staging Professionals, Regional Chapter). One of his roles as president is to oversee the selection of local charitable agencies that the Boston chapter of stagers will collaborate and donate time and materials to improve, or "stage."
