How safe do you think your city is? How welcoming is your city? - and after calculating the responses, each city received a score out of 10. Edinburgh scored 7.03, making it the 9th friendliest city in Britain. Edinburgh improved its numbers in every area of the index since September 2016, with friendliness seeing a big jump.
