Blue Mound Business Centre Reports Record Leasing in First Half of 2006
/24-7PressRelease/ - FORT WORTH, TX, August 22, 2006 - Ron Sturgeon Real Estate LP has achieved a leasing record for the company during the first six months of 2006, signing leases for 114,000 square feet at its' properties in Blue Mound Business Centre. Exceeding expectations, absorption continues to increase at the north Fort Worth property, located three miles southwest of the Alliance area, according to leasing manager Leah Haroldson.
"Our product is 'city grade' and we are flexible enough to meet our tenants needs," says Haroldson, "whether they need a dock, lots of office space, or just a small office warehouse." The property is managed by Michelle Rowland, who also is the on site manager of the self-storage facility located in the park. Haroldson and Rowland also supervise finish out and other minor construction related issues for all Ron Sturgeon Real Estate LP business parks in Tarrant County.
Blake Martenson, an agent with Peyco Southwest Realty, Inc., says, "I knew this would be a successful project because there is simply no other product like it in Northwest Tarrant County, and the availability of outside storage with small suite sizes is attractive." He adds, "Ron's on-site personnel are aggressive and pleasant, a winning combination for customer service and leasing."
The Blue Mound Business Centre was been built in phases, with construction beginning in late 1999. The business park has approximately 350,000 square feet, plus the new Copart Auto Auction Facility, which covers approximately 55 acres. Copart purchased the land and buildings from Ron Sturgeon Real Estate LP in 2002. Blue Mound 287 Business Centre, comprises 180 acres at the eastern corners of Blue Mound Road (not to be confused with 156) and US 287.
"The availability of outside storage in all the phases has expedited lease up," according to Haroldson. "Our target tenants are smaller businesses that want modern city grade facilities at competitive prices with room to grow and store products outside. Another plus for us is being located near the Alliance area."
