/24-7PressRelease/ - HONG KONG, July 09, 2008 - Content 360o, the content aggregating unit of Hong Kong-based IP solutions provider BNS has licensed the DVD rights of three programs for sale and rental through a number of retail and rental stores in Japan, including Tsutaya, the largest video rental chain in the country.
Distributed through long time partner, National Data Japan Co., Ltd., BNS has licensed programming including Crazy Clips from 2T3M Television Inc. and JKF's Women - The Scandals Revealed and Naughty By Nature from Off The Fence to retail outlets including Tower Records, HMV and Amazon and rental chains such as Tsutaya (1,300 stores), GEO (200 stores), Ken Media (7 stores).
Previously a content aggregator for primarily new media platforms such as IPTV, Mobile TV and Internet TV, the deal marks the first time BNS has secured content licensing for a traditional media platform.
The deal follows the distribution of the VOD rights for the same programs in Japan earlier this year.
