/24-7PressRelease/ -- FMAVERICK SPORTS MANAGEMENT, INC. today announced that its Board of Directors has approved the acquisition of FIT/SOLUTIONSTM, a Tampa-based firm engaged in the business of marketing and sales consulting exclusively to the personal fitness industry. The transaction will allow Maverick to extend its sports marketing, strategic planning, and brand management services to health club chains, wellness clinics, personal trainers, nutritional supplement suppliers, and other members of the personal fitness industry. The transaction was approved by written consent of a majority of the company's common shareholders at a meeting held January 5, 2012.
Under the terms of the acquisition, Maverick will receive substantially all of the Fit/Solution's business assets and will retain Jared Dotoli, its founder, as a marketing consultant.
FIT/SOLUTIONSTM is one of the premiere sports sales and marketing firms in the Tampa Bay area. It provides web design, sales consulting, and marketing support exclusively for health club franchisees and personal trainers throughout Florida.
