SARASOTA, FL, February 07, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bob Carter Companies LLC (www.BobCarterCo.com), an innovative philanthropic and fundraising consulting service with corporate headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, has opened its first international office in Mexico City. Claudia de la Vega has been engaged to serve as Regional Director for Mexico and Latin America.
Experienced in nonprofit fundraising in the United States and Mexico, de la Vega served as director of the fundraising office at Casa de la Amistad para Ninos con Cancer, IAP, and as a development executive at the Fundacion del Empresariado en Mexico, AC (Fundemex). She also worked with the Eco-Friendly Expo in New York City in 2011, and she provided pro-bono services to several organizations in Mexico, including Special Olympics and FICCO (Festival Internacional de Cine Contemporaneo). She also founded and operated a translation agency employing women who worked from home. Her clients have included General Electric, Citigroup, Prudential, Lucent Technologies, and Quintiles Mexico.

Carter, a specialist in institutional strategy, and BCCo consultants have been providing fundraising assistance for nonprofit education, healthcare and social service organizations in Mexico, including Casa de la Amistad and the American School Foundation in Mexico City, as well as UP-IPADE (Universidad Panamericana IPADE Business School) and UDEM (Universidad de Monterrey). Carter and consultant Sue Acri, CFRE, have worked on fundraising projects for the American British Cowdray Medical Center, and Sara Shroff has worked in international development, social service and global health campaigns. Consultant Lela Diaz's Spanish language capabilities will be utilized in BCCo fundraising consultation projects for Latin American nonprofits.
