SAN ANTONIO, TX, October 18, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- After an unexpected rain delay, the game is on again, as Bay Bay's Kids & All Sports Foundation has reteamed with H-E-B for BOOT CAMP: THE FITNESS CHALLENGE and the H-E-B Health and Fitness Fair.

The event, originally announced for September 13, was postponed as Hurricane Ike approached Texas, and has been rescheduled for Saturday, November 1, from 8AM to 12 noon, at the Don Strange Ranch (103 Waring Welfare Rd., Boerne, TX 78006 - Exit 533).

"Of course, we were disappointed when we had to postpone the event, but we had to take the necessary precautions to ensure everyone's safety. It's hard to believe the devastation and the destruction that occurred along the Gulf Coast in such a short period of time, our hearts go out to all those people as they struggle to put their lives back in order," says a concerned Bremond "Bay Bay" McClinton (aka "The Punisher"), founder of Bay Bay's Kids & All Sports Foundation. "So now that the teams have had some extra time to get ready, it's go time! If they thought they were in for a challenge before, they ain't seen anything yet!"

For BOOT CAMP, teams will compete in a series of events designed to test their strength, endurance, and fitness; participants will include representatives of area gyms, the San Antonio Police Department, and H-E-B. McClinton will serve as a celebrity coach and color commentator at the event, along with Drill Sgt. Harvey Walden, IV [Ret.], star of VH-1's hit reality series "Celebrity Fit Club".

Walden will also be the keynote speaker for the H-E-B Health and Fitness Fair (also rescheduled from September 13) that will take place that same day, from 1PM TO 5PM, at H-E-B plus! (6818 S. Zarzamora, San Antonio, TX 78224); the event will feature healthy snacks, an inflatable obstacle course and bungee run for the kids, and performances by dancers and fitness professionals. A free shuttle service, with buses leaving at 7:15AM, will be available to transport attendees between H-E-B plus! and Don Strange Ranch, giving everyone a chance to attend both events and still save on gas.

"We hope to see everyone at both events," McClinton says. "It's going to be a lot of fun, and don't forget that we're right between the Halloween candy and Thanksgiving turkey, so it's the perfect time to learn how to face all that food and still make healthy choices."
