BOSTON, MA, August 26, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- When it comes to website design, everyone has an opinion. So why not let those opinions be heard? This year, in honor of Boston Interactive's 10th anniversary, we are inviting the public to participate in our newest website redesign project by voting for their favorite homepage design for Save the Harbor / Save the Bay at http://www.bostoninteractive.com/vote.

Boston Interactive has a history of giving back to the community by providing website strategy, design, and development services to hundreds of nonprofit organizations. In the past, we have worked with such notable organizations as the ASPCA, the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism, Planned Parenthood, Appalachian Mountain Club, and The Trustees of Reservations.

"We have been heavily involved with nonprofit organizations for the past 10 years, so this year, for our 10th anniversary, we wanted to do it a little differently," said Boston Interactive Founder and CEO, Chuck Murphy. "We are thrilled to be working with such a worthy organization that has a profound impact on some of Boston's most important natural resources."

Save the Harbor / Save the Bay is Boston Interactive's newest nonprofit client. Their mission is to restore and protect Boston Harbor, Massachusetts Bay, and other local marine environments through restoration and educational programs. They are redesigning their website because, like many nonprofit organizations, they have realized the impact that their website has on the success of their mission. With a website that is easy-to-use, engaging, and professional, Save the Harbor wants to clearly communicate their impact on Massachusetts' marine environment as well as increase memberships and their volunteer-base.

"We are lucky to have committed corporate partners like Boston Interactive to help us get our message out." said Bruce Berman, Director of Strategy and Communications for Save the Harbor / Save the Bay. "Their insights, experience and expertise are critical to our success on the web and in the Harbor."
