The Brentwood Autumn Art Show is the city's favorite event for art-loving browsers and serious collectors: fine art and photography, clothing and accessories, jewelry, sculptures, stained glass, kinetic art, hand-blown glass, porcelain and ceramics, paper and textiles, potpourri, soaps and candles, toys, and furniture. This show has something for even the most finicky buyers.
A few of this year's invited artisans include: Julio Garcia, mixed media, Orange Park (FL); Reva Mattson, oil painting, San Marino; Thomas Mayberry, photography, Morro Bay; Josephine La Rosa, sculpture, Santa Monica; Sandy Kreyer, ceramics, Long Beach; Gina Davis, jewelry, Pasadena; and many others.
Event producer Ray Leier explains, "Every community has a special organization in need of additional funds not raised the traditional way. Proceeds from both Brentwood Art Shows (Spring and Autumn) support the West L.A. Rotary Club's various community activities. I believe it is a civic duty to step up, be responsible, and support the community. Over the years, my company has donated more than one hundred thousand dollars to assist in the efforts of Brentwood's community projects. I'm proud to know that in some small way, I helped them reach their goals."
Leier continued, "We teamed up with Four Legged Friends and the West LA Chamber to present the best event in Los Angeles -- it's a win-win for the business community and residents, the event participants and area visitors. I encourage everyone to attend, browse the displays of the exhibiting artists, adopt a pet or two, grab a snack along the way, then stop by and listen to the great musicians who lend their talent participating in this event. Sharing is our way of giving back to the community.
The 14th Annual Brentwood Autumn Show is co-sponsored sponsored by the West Los Angeles/Brentwood Rotary Club, supported by the West Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce and presented in corporation with the Four-Legged Friends Foundation.
Event producer Ray Leier, founder/owner of del Mano Productions is co-owner of Brentwood's award-winning del Mano Gallery.
