(BWI ), the leading East Coast distributor of interior and exterior doors, announces the opening of two new locations in North Carolina and Massachusetts. Headquartered in Branchburg, New Jersey, BWI now has six locations serving independent retailers throughout fourteen states from Maine to North Carolina.

BWI's new North Carolina facility is a distribution center. It is strategically located in Greensboro to service independent dealers throughout all parts of North Carolina.

BWI's second new facility, located in Leominster, Massachusetts, is a 158,000 square-foot production and distribution facility. It was acquired through an asset purchase from Masonite . It will service independent dealers in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine.

Both of the new facilities are fully operational. BWI's four other locations include its Branchburg, NJ headquarters, Richmond, VA, Binghamton, NY, and Mechanicsburg, PA.

According to Gerry Cooper of BWI, "The opening of the North Carolina and Massachusetts facilities is indicative of BWI's commitment to service independent retailers throughout the East Coast. The independent retailers depend upon us to help them compete. We will grow as necessary to best service their needs."

BWI has been supplying specialty millwork to privately owned lumberyards and independent retail establishments serving local builders and homeowners for over twenty years. In addition to adding five satellite offices to its New Jersey headquarters, the company has substantially increased the number of vehicles in its delivery fleet. Currently, thirty-eight trucks a day are loaded off BWI docks and bound for independents from the Southeast to New England.
