As early as 1996, Dr. R. Martin Earles, MD, began selling a treatment for dandruff out of his office. In a few years time, demand for the product began to outpace his ability to make the products himself. Dr. Earles' son Robert—now CEO of Dr. Earles, LLC—partnered with four of his closest friends and relatives to write a business plan for the marketing and distribution of the Doctor's products. Those same friends—at the time students at Howard University and Morehouse College—are now managers of the Company.
