/24-7PressRelease/ - LONDON, UK, October 28, 2006 - Most of the Britons do not want to share their financial situations with friends and family. They are more concerned about their financial privacy, according to a research. Hardly a few people share financial issues such as savings, loans and debts with their close friends.
A new research revealed that most of the Welsh population do not want to share their financial situations with friends and family. People from the north of England are more concerned about their financial privacy. One out of four Britons discusses financial issues with their best friends. These issues may include savings, loans (secured loan, unsecured loan), debts, etc.
The chief executive of first direct, Chris Piling commented on the nation's unwillingness in discussing their financial issues with their relatives and gave an opportunity to discuss their issues in the bank.
Mr Chris Pilling said, "At first direct we make a point of understanding that most people may suffer financial difficulties at some point in their lives and it's absolutely nothing to be ashamed of."
He further added, "In fact, with us a problem shared can be a problem halved and we want to encourage customers to speak to us before things get out of hand."
IFA Promotion, the company who promotes the benefits of independent financial advice suggested that 21 per cent of Britons have planned to sort out their financial problems in the New Year.
