From health care to law, engineering to finance, manufacturing to education, every major industry is represented by its 500,000 active members.
Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, December 30, 2010 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Britt Santowski, Author, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in writing
.
A workshop facilitator, adult educator and Internet entrepreneur, Ms Santowski is now the published author of "The Three Strategies of the Unstoppable Woman." In early December, this book has catapulted onto the best-seller lists on both Amazon.com and Amazon.ca.

On Amazon.com ranked in the bestseller lists for both the Entrepreneur and Women & Business categories. To provide context, there are over 31 million books listed on Amazon.
On Amazon.ca, this book ranked as a best seller overall (in the top 100—hitting #41—out of 15,751,486 books). Amazon.ca also identified the book as the #1 Mover and Shaker, as it saw an increase in rank from 831,570 to 41.

"The Three Strategies of the Unstoppable Woman" is written for women who are tired of being invisible, who are ready to do what they need to do to become spectacular. After all, the bottom line is that each of us will spend more time dead than alive. Deciding to take control of your "alive time" puts you in the Director's chair. The Three Strategies of the Unstoppable Woman gives women the three ultimate strategies that they can use to establish baseline confidence in whatever it is they choose to do with their life.

This is NOT "Just Another Boring Business Book." No business plans, no capital fundraising proposals, no spreadsheets. This is the book that precedes all others. Without the proper mindset, all the practical business tools in the world will not help you succeed.

This book elaborates on three key strategies: Accountability, Collaboration, and Initiative. It's not your standard fare. Indeed, this book makes some very controversial claims.

In discussing the first strategy, Accountability, Santowski argues that it's time we stopped turning women into victims, thereby weakening their rightful claim to their throne—AKA a spectacular life. Really, if we want to "fix" somebody, perhaps our heads should be turned towards the aggressor. Women who hang their coats on the Victim hook may as well hang up on the rest of their lives. Once the responsibility is squarely set on the offender's shoulders, women need to set the blame and shame aside, begin to recognize their own unique talents, and begin seeing their own potential.

In her discussion of the second strategy, Collaboration, Santowski states that the notion of women-as-nurturers is out-and-out wrong. In fact, she states, women are absolutely abysmal when it comes to connecting with other women. And as long as we stay focused on this pettiness, women will continue to live a small existence. If they want to grow BIG (as taboo as that is for women), then they ought to start expanding their networks to include one of the most creative and resourceful of all: womankind
.
Lastly in the third strategy, Initiative, Santowski says it's high time to trash the secret. Stop spending hundreds — no thousand and even tens of thousands —of dollars on these so called "Law of Attraction" gurus. The only ones who are "thinking right" and attracting buckets of money are those who know that in times of recessions and financial hardship, the self-help spending sky-rockets. You don't need them. Everything you need you already have inside of you.

The three strategies, Accountability, Collaboration and Initiative originally appeared in Rosabeth Moss Kanter's excellent book, Confidence: How Winning Streaks and Losing Streaks Begin and End. In her book, Kanter looks at the role of confidence in both corporations and Olympian-like individuals. In The Three Strategies of the Unstoppable Woman, Santowski re-considers Kanter's framework through a feminist lens and applies its formula in a way that's manageable by any women. Using her own experiences and that of other women as the back-drop, Santowski creates a book that provides entrepreneur-curious women with a base foundation that will breed both confidence and success.

Britt Santowski is an author, columnist and former motorcycle instructor currently living in Victoria, British Columbia. She's currently creating and conducting confidence-building workshops for her readers, and for organizations that help women uncover their inner entrepreneur.

Ms. Santowski is also working on her second book, The (f)Law of Attraction, to be published in early 2012.
