As a medical doctor and section chief of endocrinology with Pinehurst Medical Clinic, Inc., he specializes in treating patients with thyroid disease. He is responsible for practicing clinical medicine and working with referring physicians and their patients to determine the most appropriate plan of care. His hard work, learning skills and caring nature are what he considers to be the driving forces behind his success.

Board certified in endocrinology and internal medicine, Dr. Mays earned his MD from the University of South Carolina in 2002.
