SHEFFIELD, UK, December 04, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sally Bowyer becomes managing director, responsible for all the operational business activities, including the mis-sold payment protection insurance (PPI), bank charges and unenforceable loan agreements divisions.

Sally is a chartered accountant, qualifying in 1992 with a wealth of general management and financial experience. She was previously with Tenon /BDO Stoy Hayward accountants, where she worked for five years as chartered accountant specialising in SMEs based in the north west. Sally has significant general management experience gained in the creative/new media and software/technology sectors.

Commenting on her appointment and the new Brunel Franklin management structure, Sally Bowyer said: "These are exciting times for the regulated claims sector, and despite the fact that the bank charges side of the business is still in limbo pending the outcome of the high Court Test case, Brunel Franklin continues to make good progress - particularly in the PPI market which finally appears to be reaching a critical mass. There is huge potential in the mis-sold payment protection sector and we will look to cement our market-leading position as we did with mis-sold endowments.

"Above all, our management restructuring allows us to focus on the most important areas that will ensure Brunel Franklin's future prosperity; solid financial stability and customer service that is second to none."

Craig Feldman has been appointed as Brunel Franklin's non-practising in-house solicitor. Craig is a highly successful businessman, having previously practised corporate law and set up his own Personal Injury (PI) claims business. He has vast marketing and corporate experience and will be looking to strengthen Brunel Franklin's corporate partner and affiliate base, as well as exploring new business development opportunities for the firm.

Michael Goldstone's services have been retained on a consultancy basis, ensuring continuity within the Brunel Franklin senior management structure. Michael was responsible for setting up and successfully steering Brunel Franklin from a standing start to a market leading position where it won over 120 million for victims of the mis-sold endowment crisis. Michael Goldstone has a broad range of business experience with an interest in several companies. Michael has always been interested in high growth opportunities as was illustrated by his highly innovative venture back in 1984 - Excell Communications - one of the first players in the mobile telecoms arena. When mobile phones were in their infancy in the UK marketplace, Excell was at the forefront of the market and was one of the first service providers of both Vodafone and Cellnet. Excell sold the only British-made cellular phone on the market at the time. More recently, Michael was also behind Harness Software Ltd, a software development house. In these and other business ventures, Michael's key strength has been taking fledgling companies, seeing the growth potential in them, and driving them forward to a highly profitable position.

Jeffrey Rubins becomes Chairman of Brunel Franklin. Jeffrey qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1969 and is a Fellow of the Securities Institute. Alongside a career in stockbroking he has been instrumental in the establishment, funding and development of a wide range of private businesses and closely involved as chairman in the reorganisation and financial restructuring of several listed companies including Prestwich Holdings plc and Westwood Dawes plc. He chaired Netcall plc on its admission to AIM in March 1996, continuing as a non-executive director from June 2001 until May 2004. He is a non executive director of AIM listed Tricorn Group plc and acts as a consultant to several private companies.
