Alongside the exhibition the Manufacturing Solutions Conference was held over two days at the show. The conference addressed various challenges from industrial sectors such as automotive, electronics and shipbuilding.
The main exhibition saw group pavilions from Czech Republic, Germany, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand showcasing their latest technologies to trade visitors. Many potential business trade leads were established during the time at the show, increasing the Buy Singapore business directory. MTA Vietnam 2008 only further confirmed the potential and strength of Oriental trading companies
Sharing a booth with the Singapore Precision Engineering & Tooling Association, BuySingapore mingled with both exhibitors and visitors to collect B2B trade leads for its business matching portal. Launched in November 2006, the portal has since helped many small and medium enterprises match business trade leads for their products and services. It has amassed more than 20,000 foreign trade leads from tradeshows around the world.
