Writers will be contributing to BuzzGrub in two ways. As an extension of BuzzGrub's print coverage, the site will also offer visual based stories as either still photographs or videos. The old saying that a picture is worth a thousand words has become the guiding principle of the Internet age. A Photojournalist captures the truth of a story in one image, one shot, and then distributes that image through the web to reach people nearly instantaneously. Each submitted image embodies the essence of the event, and conveys the emotion of a story in a way words can never capture. BuzzGrub video journalists do the same but with unfiltered moving images and sound to show the story in its rawest form.
