- EAST PROVIDENCE, RI, July 05, 2007 - On Sunday July 22nd at 2 p.m., the Cady Finlayson Band brings Spirited Irish Music to East Providence, Rhode Island, as part of the East Providence Heritage Festival (EPHF). The festival will be held at Pierce Memorial Field, 201 Mercer St. in East Providence, RI. Gates open at 1 p.m. and tickets are $10 onsite and available from ticketweb.com
This year's festival will benefit the American Brain Tumor Association.
Cady's all-star band performs spirited Irish fiddle with a global twist and includes Irish singer Padraig Allen, singer Marika Reisberg, percussionist Shane O'Sullivan and All-Ireland accordian champion John Redmond.
Other bands on the bill include Casper and the House of Davies (Reggae),Entrain and headliner Starship with Mickey Thomas.

The Heritage Festival is a 3-day outdoor food and music festival now in its 27th year. HeritageFest prides itself on showcasing the arts in a family oriented environment. This event provides a wonderful opportunity for all age groups to celebrate their own musical heritage as well as to experience in an atmosphere of camaraderie the music, cuisine and artistry of other lands thereby gaining a greater understanding of the common threads that unite us.
