/24-7PressRelease/ - LONDON, UK, March 10, 2007 - In response to requests from a number of customers, Numberstore today introduced network level call queuing to its already impressive list of call management features.
"The ability to queue calls at network level further ensures that our customers do not lose that all important call", commented Zimo's CEO, Kieron James. "Queues allow more callers than available destinations. Callers hear music on hold until a destination is free to take their call."
Numberstore customers have always had the ability to set up call hunt groups and combine these with voice to email services to optimise routing of inbound calls, but the introduction of call queuing offers an important new call management tool.
Call queuing will be available free of charge to all Numberstore customers from today. It is a further illustration of the benefits of using a hosted telephony service rather than a hardware PBX system, since upgrades and additional call management features are released and added to the service on a regular basis.
Existing customers requiring help in setting up the service should contact the Numberstore Helpdesk on 0800 321 3000 or follow the steps below:
Log in to eConsole.
Go to Features > Queues.
Click the "Add a new queue" button.
Enter the following:
A name for the queue.
Optionally, a description.
How long to hold before giving up.
The record group (Premier Service Plan customers only) if you have set one up.
The destination to route calls to this queue if none of the destinations answer before the maximum hold time.
Click the "Save" button.
In the list queues page, click on the queue you have just created.
Click the "Add a destination" button.
Choose the destination.
Click the "Save" button.
Repeat for other destinations as desired.
