With 37 years of experience in healthcare, Mann has gone above and beyond to provide healthcare professionals and the community with training in several vital disciplines and methods. HealthSource at KidSake also provides developmental programs to businesses with over 50 employees to ensure they keep in line with OSHA compliance.
The HealthSource, a community training center at KidSake, adheres to American Heart Association and Academy of Pediatrics standards. The center offers valuable resources that empower the community to take health into their own hands, while proactively addressing the rising costs of healthcare. The programs offer preventative health and safety instruction in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, basic life support and pediatric life support to children and adults. Courses in continuing education for healthcare providers address the career needs of healthcare professionals. The HealthSource also offers businesses individualized assessment and training based on their OSHA compliance needs. As the training center coordinator at HealthSource, Mann assures the curriculum is up to standard and educating a wide variety of individuals.
Mann received an associates degree in nursing from St. Mary's University in 1970. While working at UCLA's pediatric intensive care units, Mann gained managerial and clinical experience. She is a basic life support instructor and a pediatric and neonatal advanced life support instructor. She is a board member for the Safe Kids Coalition of Sonoma County and a member of the American Heart Association as well as the American Lung Association.
