Ms. Duval Cotte is the general manager of Sankhara Luxury Private Beach Villas, an exclusive, sumptuous resort off the beaten path. Her responsibilities in this role are many and varied. She is in charge of everything from housekeeping and staff meetings to researching the hotel's brand and positioning. Ms. Duval Cotte also looks for new partners for the hotel and works with current partners, handles hotel inspections and stays active in social media.

With 19 years in the business, Ms. Duval Cotte attributes her success to her hard work, curiosity to learn and her personality. She became involved in her profession after originally wanting to work in the banking industry, but gravitated toward hospitality because she loved people. After she finished school, she had the opportunity to work in a casual job at a hotel and her career progressed from there.

Ms. Duval Cotte has earned a certification in hotel management and has taken various courses in the field. She is a member of Luxury Society and has won numerous awards for her work, including Best Supportive Manager Award and Best Receptionist Award. In the future, Ms. Duval Cotte intends to succeed in her new role as general manager, as she was just promoted two months ago. She will also increase the resort's number of villas, and grow in her position, taking on more responsibilities.
