HANFORD, CA, April 6, 2009 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Daria Majzoubi, MD, President and Chief Executive Officer with Hanford Regional Physicians Group, Medical Director of Hanford Regional Healthcare Network, and a consultant for hospital-based medical group development, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Primary Care Medicine. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.

Dr. Majzoubi has six years of professional experience, three of which have been as president and CEO of Hanford Regional Physicians Group and medical director of Hanford Regional Healthcare Network. He specializes in preventive health and primary care medicine and is responsible for marketing, new business development, physician productivity analysis, and medical practice management. Dr. Majzoubi is the chairman of the department of family medicine for the consolidated medical staff at Hanford Community Medical Center, Central Valley General Hospital and Selma Community Hospital. He co-authored the book 'Blueprints in Family Medicine' and the first edition was published in 2003 by Blackwell Science. He is currently working on an article about medical economics. His experience and ability to understand people's needs, deliver quality service and capitalize on opportunities are the driving forces behind his success.
