- Boaz, AL, February 21, 2008, La Tonya Menece Leeth, Mechanical Designer for Ajax-Tocco Magnethermic, has been named
Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in mechanical design. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.
Ms. Leeth has been involved in the mechanical design industry for 15 years. She pursued a career in the field because of a natural aptitude for the work and her love of designing and building. As a mechanical designer for Ajax-Tocco Magnethermic, Ms. Leeth utilizes mechanical design and engineering concepts to create induction heating systems for automobiles. Ajax-Tocco Magnethermic, which has worldwide operations in nine countries, is one of the few induction equipment manufacturers that maintains a full-time research and development program.
Leeth received her Associates Degree in Applied Science and Design Technology from Wallace State Community College. She is a member of Iota Lambda and SkillsUSA.
