Mr. Pearson became involved in his profession because he was inspired by his father who started the company and still works at the age of 92. Pearson Capital, Inc., is a family business offering customized, personalized, and specialized portfolios for individuals and businesses using select stocks and exchange-traded funds. Before becoming a registered investment advisor, Mr. Pearson worked as a sales manager for Coca Cola in Boston, MA. He sites his greatest career achievement as being able to help people manage their finances and eventually send their kids to college. Mr. Pearson has used his time in the field to develop an expertise in preparing investment portfolios for individuals and stays current in his profession by always working to continue his education.
Aside from his professional duties, Mr. Pearson writes articles for Bull & Bear, Dick Davis Digest and the Pearson Investment Letters. He also advises people about the value of 401K retirement plans. He donates time to the U.S. Marine Corps, the Toys for Tots Foundation, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Ruskin, FL. Additionally, he serves as president of the Apollo Beach Chamber of Commerce, and is a recipient of the U.S. Marine Corps Commanders Award and the GMS Business Person of the Year Award.
