As a cooperative extension specialist for the University of California, Davis, Dr. Fennimore specializes in soil seed bank ecology, weed ecology and weed management. He develops integrated and sustainable strategies for weed management in vegetable crops and strawberries and attributes his success to his hard work and persistence. Dr. Fennimore has been with the University of California, Davis for 10 years.
In 1997, Dr. Fennimore received his Ph.D. in weed science from Purdue University. He earned his master of science in weed science from the University of California, Davis in 1983 and his bachelor of arts in public affairs from the University of Oregon in 1977. He is a member of the American Society for Horticultural Science, the California Weed Science Society, the Weed Science Society of America and the Western Society of Weed Science.
